Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and manage U.S. and international trademark, patent, and copyright applications and Assignments with USPTO, other foreign countries and Secretary of State.
• Track and manage deadlines using docketing systems to ensure compliance with filing requirements.
• Conduct IP searches, analyze results, and prepare summary reports for attorneys and clients.
• Draft assignments, licensing agreements, and other IP-related documents.
• Coordinate with foreign counsel and government agencies for international filings.
• Assist with enforcement matters, including cease-and-desist letters and infringement monitoring.
• Organize evidence and documentation for disputes, litigation, and USPTO proceedings.
• E filing with USDC, SC State Court and SC Secretary of State

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate/ equivalent experience
• 3+ years of IP paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Knowledge of U.S. and international IP laws and procedures.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Proficiency with IP docketing software, WIPO, USPTO electronic filing systems, TSDR, Adobe, Google Patents, Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision in a high-volume practice.
