We currently have an opening in our Greenville, South Carolina office for an Attorney in the Real Estate practice group. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package in a professional, congenial work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Advise and counsel clients on real estate matters, including purchase and sales transactions, leasing, zoning, development, subdivision, and financing
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale contracts, leases, financing documents, and other corporate and real estate related agreements.
• Review title examinations, title commitments and policies, surveys and prepare appropriate title objection or title objection response letters
• Coordinate and conduct closings
• Research and analyze land use, zoning, and environmental issues

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in real estate. Candidate must be admitted to practice in South Carolina and should possess strong academic credentials, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to manage files and work independently.
